Project Description

Loss adjuster

Loss adjusters are independent claims specialists who assist in the fair and just settlement of claims, including complex or contentious claims, on behalf of insurance companies. They help policyholders restore their property to full working order.

Loss adjusters investigate at the scene of an incident to establish the causes of the loss (damage or destruction of property) and ascertain whether it is covered by the insurance policy. They then write reports for the insurer, assessing the validity of the claim and recommending appropriate payment.

The functions of insurance adjusters are: estimate the value of the objects before the occurrence of the incident, investigate the causes of the incident, say if the loss is covered by the policy, establish the amount covered by the policy, noting the amount corresponding to the compensation according to the conditions of the policy and set the salvage value of the damaged remains.
